I was an auditor.

So was she.

We drafted audited financial statements.

One day, I drafted an Audited Love Report.

The assets were the pillows we bought, the photo albums, the plushies and the cars.

The liabilities were the loans on the cars.

The share capital was our love, quantified as the balancing figure — assets less liabilities.

It was signed by a Love Commissioner instead of a Commissioner for Oaths.

Thinking back, I smiled.
